How We Work
While any financial professional can provide investment advice, working long-term with an advocate you can trust is more difficult to find. At Covenant Investments & Management, we want to fill this role in your life. Beyond offering unbiased investment advice and creating customized financial strategies, our focus is on building long-term relationships with you.
Financial planning isn’t a one-time event; it’s a lifelong promise. We want to help you stay on track, guide you through any obstacles, and make adjustments to your roadmap as your needs change. We guide our clients through a holistic process that allows us to get to know them on a personal level, understand their needs, and develop a strategy tailored to their goals.
A Casual Conversation
We begin with an informal conversation where we sit down and get to know each other better. We don’t discuss any financial products and instead focus on your experiences with financial planning, where you are in life, and where you want to go in life.
In a follow-up meeting, we address your financial situation. We gather data and evaluate your finances, current policies and plans, your comfortable level of risk, and any possible gaps. We’ll also define and prioritize your financial goals.
Develop a Plan
We take the time to develop a plan based on our findings. This may include adjusting the current level of risk you’re taking with your investments, creating a new plan, or recommending alternative strategies.
Select Your Strategies
Once we have developed our recommendations, we present these strategies to you. Beyond answering your questions, we explain the reasoning behind our recommendations. We want you to feel confident with your options before making any decisions.
Implement & Monitor
Following, we implement your customized strategies and regularly monitor. We meet at least annually to review your strategies and determine any needs for adjustments. Outside of these meetings, we enjoy staying in frequent contact with our clients, whether it’s a quick phone call to say hello or an email sharing helpful financial tips.
We believe this process helps us build trusted relationships with clients. In fact, we have been working with some of our clients for more than 25 years. If you’re interested in discovering how we may be able to help you, contact us for a complimentary and casual first meeting.
